An account is required in order to access our catalog and order plugs. By creating an account and making a purchase, you affirm that you are a commercial cut flower farmer with a business tax ID number, in compliance with your state's tax requirements. We do not offer retail sales to hobbyists, gardeners, or non-commercial growers of any kind.
All plugs are grown by and shipped from Gro 'n Sell in Chalfont, PA. Plugs are packed in Gro 'n Sell's custom heavy-duty insulated shipping box, which holds three full-sized trays. We require a minimum purchase of three full sized trays (or their equivalent) per ship week. Fright is changed per shipping box, so ordering in multiples of three ensures that you get the most bang for your shipping buck, and that the trays are snug and secure in their box, reducing the risk of damage during transport. Plugs are grown in either a 216 cell tray (billed as 210), 128 cell tray (billed as 125), or a 52 cell half-sized tray (billed as 50).
An order's Ship Week is when it is boxed and shipped from Gro 'n Sell to you. When placing your order, you will be asked to select a Ship Week. Weeks run Monday-Sunday, and each week of the year is numbered 1 through 52, starting in January.
An item's lead time is the amount of time it takes to grow the seed/cutting into a ready-to-ship plug. This varies by variety, and is indicated in each product description. For example, lisianthus has a 12 week lead time, so if you want lisianthus plugs delivered to you in Week 13, the order must be placed by Week 1. Place orders as early as possible to ensure access to your desired products and Ship Weeks.
Although all plugs are custom grown to order, additional trays occasionally become available. These are mature ready-to-ship plugs. They are posted to the Catalog on Fridays (when applicable) under product name "Available Now" and shipped the following Monday/Tuesday.
Prior to shipping, we can generally accommodate most cancellations of trays or orders, and refund in full.
If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, in poor condition, does not match your order, or is otherwise unsatisfactory in any way, please notify firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please include your name, order number, and photos (required). Upon filing a claim, we will work with you to find a solution right away. Read more about claims here.
