Ordering
Tray Sizes & Order Minimum
Plugs are produced in different tray sizes, depending on the variety. Each product page will indicate available tray sizes. Trays cannot be split between varieties unless they are indicated as a Mix.
Plugs from seed
128 cell tray (billed as 125)
288 cell tray (billed as 285) - If ordering only this size, 5 trays will fill a box.
Plugs from unrooted cuttings (URC)
50 cell full tray
Order minimum - 4 full trays or equivalent (tray sizes can be combined to reach minimum).
Lead Time
With the exception of "Ready To Ship" trays, all plugs are grown to order. An item's lead time is the amount of time it takes to grow the seed/cutting into a plug that is ready for transport. Lead time varies by variety, and is indicated in each product description.
Who Can order
Anyone in the US excluding Hawaii (sorry folks!).
When we Ship
Plugs ship year-round, Monday through Thursday, from Plug Connection in Vista, California with the exception of Week 52 and Week 1, due to year end holidays.
Active Orders
Order Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email from info@farmerbailey.com shortly after placing your order. You will also receive a PDF order Acknowledgement (ACK) via email from Plug Connection within 48 hours.
Cancellations
Cancellations are accepted, with a 10% cancellation fee, up until trays have been sown. Ready to Ship orders are never eligible for cancellation.
Please email info@farmerbailey.com with your 5-digit order number and specific cancellation request. Your items are not considered canceled until you have received a confirmation email from Farmer Bailey and an updated order acknowledgement from Plug Connection.

Order Pickup
Customers within a 2 hour radius of Plug Connection may select Pick up at checkout. The same order minimums apply for Pick Up orders as for shipped orders: 4 full trays or their equivalent. Please note that there is a $10 fee to pick up an order at Plug Connection.
Pick Up orders may be retrieved Tuesday-Friday only. Pick Up is not permitted on Mondays under any circumstance. Plug Connection will contact you via phone or email to schedule.

Pallet Shipping
Orders of 60 trays or more are eligible for pallet shipping. Email us at info@farmerbailey.com for a freight quote. Please note that due to fluctuating freight cost, you may be invoiced for a balance due, or a receive a partial refund, at the time of shipping.
Order issues
Jostled plugs
Plugs may occasionally pop out of their tray during transit. As long as the plant itself is not damaged, you can simply bump them into a larger tray (such as a 72-cell tray) right away, give it a good drink, and it should be a-ok.
Claims
To file a claim for damaged plugs or plants that have bloomed the incorrect variety, please fill out this form. For plug damage, the form must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving your order. Based on Plug Connection's assessment of your claim, we may issue a refund, send a replacement, or a combination thereof.
Missing plugs AKA Downcounted trays
Due to the nature of growing live plants, partial trays are occasionally shipped. We refer to this as a "downcount". If you received a downcounted tray, know that our office has been made aware of this shortage and you will be compensated. Read all about downcounts here.
