Tray Sizes & Order Minimums
Plugs are produced in different size trays based on variety. Each product page will indicate the tray size, and specific shipping rules when applicable (i.e. Gerbera, Chrysanthemum, Alstroemeria).
Please note, Vernalized Perennial orders must be placed separately.
Order minimum - 1 full 3-tray box
Plugs from seed
128 cell tray (billed as 125)
216 cell tray (billed as 210)
Plugs from unrooted cuttings (URC)
51 cell half-sized tray (billed as 50), these trays are "hamburger shape"
25 cell half-sized tray (billed as 25), these trays are "hotdog shape"
Order minimum - 1 full 2 -tray box
Vernalized Perennials
32 cell tray or 18 cell tray
Lead Time
With the exception of "Ready To Ship" trays, all plugs are grown to order. An item's lead time is the amount of time it takes to grow the seed/cutting into a plug that is ready for transport. This time varies by variety, and is indicated in each product description.
Who Can order
Anyone in the US excluding Hawaii (sorry folks!).
When we Ship
Plugs ship year-round, Monday through Thursday, from Gro 'n Sell in Chalfont, Pennsylvania with the exception of Weeks 52 and 1 due to year end holidays.
Active Orders
Order Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email from info@farmerbailey.com shortly after placing your order. You will also receive a PDF order acknowledgement (ACK) via email from Gro 'n Sell within 48 hours.
Cancellations
Most trays and orders can be canceled anytime prior to shipping. Please note, Farmer Bailey retains a 10% cancellation fee for all cancellations.
Ready to Ship orders are never eligible for cancellation.
Please email info@farmerbailey.com with your 5 or 6-digit order number and specific cancellation request. Your items are not considered canceled until you have received a confirmation email from Farmer Bailey and an updated order acknowledgement from Gro 'n Sell.

Order Pick Up
The same order minimums apply for Pick Up orders as for shipped orders.
PA and NJ residents may select the 'Free Local Pick Up' option at checkout. Pick Up orders may be retrieved Thursday and Friday only. Customers agree to receive a phone call from Gro 'n Sell for scheduling purposes. Customers who do not respond to attempts to schedule or who do not pick up their orders will not be refunded.

Damaged/Missing Items
Jostled plugs
Plugs may occasionally pop out of their tray during transit. As long as the plant itself is not damaged, you can simply bump them into a larger tray (such as a 72) right away, give it a good drink, and it should be a-ok.
Claims
To file a claim for damaged plugs or for plants that have bloomed the incorrect variety, please fill out this form. For plug damage, the form must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving your order. Based on Gro 'n Sell's assessment of your claim, we may issue a refund, send a replacement, or a combination thereof.
A special note on Vernalized perennials: during the winter and early spring, these plants are shipped in a dormant state. Yes, they may look dead, but fear not! Please read this before filing a claim.
Missing plugs AKA Downcounted trays
Due to the nature of growing live plants, partial trays are occasionally shipped. We refer to this as a "downcount". If you received a downcounted tray, know that our office has been made aware of this shortage and you will be compensated. Read all about downcounts here.
