I'm certain that a cost-benefit analysis of all of the time and attention it takes to actually be successful at germinating Lisianthus... would be glaringly, obvious that it is much more cost-effective to buy plugs. Bailey's Lisianthus plugs always arrive healthy, gorgeous, and with a robust root system already established.
