Daucus 'Purple Kisses' may be a little bit stinky like the rest of the flowering carrot family, but we love her airy umbels anyway.
Purple Kisses blooms in a range of shades from pale lavender to deep amethyst. Daucus is a long day plant that will flower from early summer through to frost, and is a great candidate for succession planting to extend the blooming window.
Once established, Daucus is quite drought resistant, and generally insect- and disease-free.
Check out our new Daucus Growing Guide for a complete reference on how to grow, harvest and handle this lovely, fuss-free filler.
