"Hi! My name is Jessica Alpers, and I'm a first generation flower farmer and sixth generation tree fruit farmer. I own and operate Orchard Breeze Flower Farm, a ~1/2 acre flower farm consisting of perennials, bulb crops, annuals, and dahlias in Leelanau County, Michigan. Being located one mile inland from Lake Michigan, the flower field is situated in an ideal microclimate within a microclimate for growing specialty crops. I produce cut flowers for local florists and designers in the Grand Traverse Region, supply grocery store bouquets, and subscription bouquets."
