Customer Service Specialist, Part-Time Hourly (15-20 hrs/week) 

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for handling customer comments, complaints, and inquiries, providing product information and technical support, and collecting customer feedback. They work closely with the Customer Success Manager, Farmer Bailey's management team and the administrative teams of our vendors to maintain a knowledge of the company's products, services, and processes while providing top-notch service via email and telephone to ensure customer satisfaction. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Review Order Acknowledgements, flagging those requiring attention; follow-up with customers and/or reconcile as required 

Process downcount reports 

Communicate with vendors and customers regarding shortages, substitutions, and backorders 

Identify problems, escalate them to management and collaborate to find solutions 

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Assist with maintaining the info@farmerbailey.com inbox, sort emails, promptly respond to customer queries, process order updates and claims, and forward pertinent emails to other members of the Farmer Bailey Inc. team 

Update ship weeks via Infinite Options 

Assist with posting Ready To Ship trays on Fridays, removing out-of-stock trays in real time 

Attend workshops, trade shows, and meetings as required 

Create and maintain a list of Standard Operating Procedures as needed 

Maintain logbook of hours worked 

Attend team meetings

Other tasks as assigned 

Requirements: 

Must be a resident of VT or PA

A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with clients

Superb written and verbal communication skills 

Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills 

Flexibility to work irregular hours when required 

Mastery of Google Workspace 

Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, Shopify Admin 

Previous experience in a customer service role 

Must have Thursday and Friday availability

Compensation:

$20-$25/hr dependent on experience

Employer-sponsored 401K with 4% employer match
