Trollius, A Perennial Favorite

What's up, buttercup? Some knee-high Trollius!

Trollius is in the Ranunculus family and it shows. These big buttercups offer masses of flowers that hold very well when cut.

Golden Queen (pictured) is a show stopper, and the more subtle New Moon will blend beautifully with the most sophisticated color palettes.

Trollius bloom around the same time as Peonies and Geum and are fun for those late spring bouquets. They will tolerate partial shade and prefer moist soil. They are probably best grown in the upper half of the US, as they naturally come from cold regions.

Chunky plugs ship this spring after proper vernalization under the watchful eyes of Gro 'n Sell's greenhouse growers. The order minimum is just two trays: mix & match from our Gro 'n Sell Perennial catalog at farmerbailey.com.
