How to update your account with a company name
Urgent Action Required for All Farmer Bailey Customers

Hey there! Got 30 seconds to spare today? Use it to ensure your plug orders keep flowing smoothly tomorrow.
Simply update the Company Name in your Farmer Bailey account—it’s quick, it’s easy, and it keeps everything running like clockwork. It’s also required to keep your account active.
If you don’t have a Company Name, just add your own name to the Company field.
Just make sure to do it before September 18, 2024 to avoid account disruptions. If you're curious about why adding your Company Name is now required, read on after zooming through the five steps below.
Step One
In a new browser window or tab, log into farmerbailey.com
Step Two
Click My Account.
(It's the little person icon in the top right corner. On mobile, open the top left menu and scroll down to the bottom. Tap My Account and scroll again to the bottom for Account Details. )
Step Three
Under Account Details you will see any addresses on file.
Click View Addresses.
Click Default Address.
Step Four
Confirm that your Company Name is listed under your full name. Your company name must match how it appears on your tax documents.
If your Company Name is not listed or is not accurate, click Edit.
Step Five
Add or update your Company Name in the Edit Address pane.
If you don't have a Company Name, add your own name to this field.
Click Update Address to submit.
Just for fun, delete or edit any old or irrelevant addresses while you're here. All done!

Hello valued customers!
Since launching Farmer Bailey back in 2016, two prevailing priorities of ours have been: 1) Getting top-quality starter plants into the hands of the growers who need them, and 2) Providing growers with a streamlined website for easy online ordering.
Thanks to all of you, it has been a success! And we've been able to continue to expand our selection, add new catalogs, and improve processes. None of that is going to change, but we do have some major developments underway, and we require your active participation in their implementation.
Up until now, we've been operating strictly as a wholesaler, selling plugs in bulk to commercial growers tax-free.
As you know, an increasing number of hobbyists, gardeners, and flower enthusiasts have entered this market in recent years. We think that this is fantastic, and love to see this blossoming interest in growing flowers! Later this year we will be rolling out a brand-new branch of Farmer Bailey with a separate website just for small-scale retail growers, with smaller packaging, low order minimums, curated collections, and so much more! We're very excited to share more about this in the coming months.
To best serve our diverse customers, we must begin differentiating between professional commercial farmers and retail customers.
In November 2024, only businesses with wholesale accounts will be able to make tax-free purchases on FarmerBailey.com.
So what does this mean for you? If you have a Customer Account at Farmer Bailey in your name, providing your updated Company Name today allows us to create a NEW Company Account on your behalf using your business name. (You'll use this new account beginning November 2024).
After that, to continue to order plugs tax-free, you will be asked to submit updated tax exemption certificates from your State's Department of Revenue. If you're a commercial business, you have this info ready to go. And if you don't, don't worry! You'll have plenty of time (and support from our team) to get it. In the coming weeks you'll receive an email with a link for quick & easy submission of these documents. Trust us, it's super easy and only takes a minute or two.
