2025 is the Year of the Pansy. Old fashioned but fresh-faced, Pansies are now appearing in modern floral design as flower farmers achieve 12" stem length through close spacing (3-4") and growing these frilly, flouncy darlings under cover.

Plant Pansy plugs in the fall for the most robust plants that explode with growth as soon as the weather warms, or transplant plugs a month before your last outdoor frost in the spring. Pansies can handle frost and dips into freezing temperatures while young.
