
Hi, I’m Isabella, the newest member of the Customer Service team at Farmer Bailey.
I come from a long line of plant enthusiasts–from my grandmother, with her overflowing fourth floor apartment terrace garden in Santiago, Chile; to my great uncle’s botanical garden in Adelaide, Australia; to the place where I was raised, on my mom’s cut flower farm Le Mera Gardens in Southern Oregon. My upbringing has given me a deep appreciation for the hard, dirty and satisfying work of farming and a huge love for the ephemeral beauty of locally grown fresh flowers.
A migratory life finds me splitting time between Southern Oregon and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I run a small business, Jacklily Floral, specializing in seasonal floral design and large-scale installations made with natural materials. In the summer I get my hands dirty alongside my Farmer Bailey colleague Hilary and her partner Dave, growing the finest flowers of Northern Vermont at Morey Hill Farm.
Here at Farmer Bailey I get a similar satisfaction helping you with your plug orders in the 2D world as I do efficiently harvesting and processing cut flower orders in the 3D world. As a physical laborer my whole life, I have to admit this has come as a bit of a surprise!
When not working with flowers physically or virtually, I can be found enjoying the great outdoors on foot, mountain bike, skis or raft, almost always with a dog or two in tow.
I’m grateful to work with our phenomenal team, our growing partners across the country, and with each and every one of you as we strive to bolster a successful domestic cut flower industry which will uplift us all.
