I love poppies. Will they thrive at 3,000 ft. Elevation in western North Carolina ? It is very windy here.
That multi color bunch above is spectacular,I would love to grow that.

Hi Carol, Thank you for your message! Yes, Poppies can thrive at elevation. They will do best if fall-planted and offered some protection over the winter and their early bloom period with low hoops and frost cloth, if the wind is very harsh.
