Plug Connection

Veronica Skyler™ Splash

$109.00
Tray Size: 50
variety: Splash Blue

The new Skyler Splash series is just like the standard except it makes more of a spray of blooms rather than one main spike per stem. It has a bit of a crest at the tip as well which I love. Pinch out the central spike when you see it forming to encourage the spray to form. Bred by Danziger of Israel.

Plug Connection is producing Scoop and Skyler in a 50 cell FULL TRAY so they will be a bit larger than what we offer through Gro n Sell.

Fall shipping of these products is available weeks 40-46. Spring dates will be posted on Oct. 1.

Bailey's Notes
The Skyler series does not need a cold winter period, unlike other Veronica longifolia cultivars. It will flower the first year from planting. Cut to the ground, and it will generally send out an additional flush of flowers. Depending on location you may harvest 2-4 flushes of flowers per year. It is fully hardy. In its second and third years, you will see many more stems emerge as the plant spreads. You may need to replace them every 4 or 5 years if production declines.
